Preparing For Magic

Photo – Ring of Brodgar on Orkney – a sacred circle where the ancient ones stand watch as the centuries roll by.

On Monday, the next round of the Practical Magic Business Circle will gather. I’ll open the secret FaceBook group, I’ll send out the invitations, and the women who have chosen to be there, who have chosen to lean into the magic and the devotion and the sisterhood and the truth of delivering their gifts out into the world… yes, those women, our circle sisters, they will begin to arrive in the space.

I always imagine that the beginning of an online circle is much the same as an offline circle. The women arrive, a little tentative, a lot excited. Hugs are given freely to both old friends and new. Wee conversations begin to bubble up as they begin to seek all the places that they connect, and then the sheer delight when they realise just how much they all have in common. But of course they do, as they have all chosen this for themselves. A part of them always knew themselves as a circle sister. A wise wild knowing which has brought them here… to this place…. to this community.

But, of course, for me, as the caller of the circle, there is some work to do before they all arrive! The space, after all, must be prepared.

Now, if this were an offline circle, I would be setting out the cushions on the floor, arranging the altar, lighting the incense, and finding a little mood music on my iPod to set our scene with sound.

The Practical Magic Business Circle, however, is not an offline circle. It is an online space. One which I consider no less sacred for its etheric nature. The connections we make are no less resonant. The safety and integrity of our circle is no less absolute. The love, the wisdom, the depth and the beauty… all are no less available to us in this virtual space than they would be if we were to be gathered in the same room.

So, how do I prepare this space? How do I ensure that what you receive as you enter into this circle is an experience of sacred sisterhood?

Well, a lot of it is to do with design and structure. I create very clear ways for the space to be used. I find that when we know what to expect we can drop into our true nature of open-hearted presence. We can be with what’s here with deep compassion – for ourselves, for our sisters. And if you’ve ever been in circle with me, then you’ll know me as a strong guide. Invitations are offered with clarity and with love. Personal space is created within the collective with reverence and with love. Routines are established with ease and with love.

Are you getting the key ingredient here?

Everything I do, is with love. It’s my way of being in the world. It’s the question that I live. How can I do this with love? How can I be with this with love? How can I meet life with love?

When we create from this place – this place of clarity, reverence, ease and love love love – then it becomes easy to design an experience of the sacred – whether that’s online or off. And you know, in all kinds of circle, all kinds of magic can occur…. let’s see what magic we can create together in this one, this Practical Magic Business Circle.

You can claim your place in the next round of the Practical Magic Business Circle now simply by clicking on the link below. You’ll be taken to a page that will give you all the details, and will take you through the various payment options. It’s always so important to me that this work remains accessible to you, so I provide instalment options for you so that you can break up the payments into bite-size pieces. I also give an option for some extra support, should you feel that would be delicious for you and your business.

Our circle officially begins on the 24th August, so you need to claim your place by the 23rd. However, as I mentioned above, I will be adding circle sisters into our secret FaceBook group from early next week. Will you be there? Are you ready to enter in?

I’m ready for some Practical Magic!
